Maybelline Superstay Gloss review
I was very excited about this stuff, especially when Walgreens had a “buy one, get one free” sale this week.
Unfortunately, this product is horrible for so many reasons:
1. At application, it had a terrible, fake strawberry taste
2. The clear gloss is “too glossy” for daytime use (and has the terrible taste too)
3. After 3.5 hours, and approximately 2 bottles of diet pepsi, the color has migrated to the corners of my lips or outside of them. I let the color dry for 2 minutes as it says on the tube.
4. My lips have the gummy, sticky feel of a cheap lip gloss. I am now going to try and get this stuff off.
Fortunately, Walgreens has a liberal return policy. The only good thing I have to say about this product is that the available colors are pretty decent. Loreal infallible is a much superior product–especially if they could improve their colors.
