At long last, I’ve found Postcard X! So far, I have sent out about 4 collaged postcards and 1 letter. Tonight I plan to write out some recipe cards to send to England. I’d forgotten how much I missed sending random mail to strangers and receiving surprises.

Fast Spinach Tip

I’m going to try this for my next work party. Mix together 1 can chopped spinach (well drained) 16 oz. sour cream 3/4 cup mayonnaise 1 package of vegetable soup mix 2 cans (16 oz.) drained and chopped water chestnuts 1 small chopped onion Chill for several hours before serving. Serve with bread or crackers.

Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie

I finally broke down and read a Jennifer Crusie book, and I laughed my way through most of it. I should have been reading them two years ago! The main character, Minerva Dobbs, is someone that I can identify with–an overweight woman with a shoe addiction. Highly recommended.
